A lot of people turned off their "stand up" reminders on the Apple Watch. Mostly because a buzz every hour has the potential to be extremely annoying. I get that. But I've come to appreciate the reminders, and actively pay attention to them, for exactly this reason. Even standing up for 5 minutes every hour falls prey to this "tradeoff mentality" mentioned in the article, but hey, every bit counts for those of us who work on computers for a living.
