I'm not one for book reviews, but Replay ranks up there for me in the list of thought-provoking and fun-to-read stories. The premise of the book is interesting enough, but the way Grimwood tells the story peels back layer upon layer of complexity and nuance that I'd never really considered in the time-travel-ish genre.
I'm beginning to lean much closer to the type of sci-fi that feels more grounded in modern reality. The kinds of stories that, with a small stretch of the imagination, seem possible, if not plausible. Books like Replay and Ready Player One come to mind.
